If you elect to install hardwood floors, as most of our clients do, the floor registers in those areas will be made of wood and stained to match the floor stain color of your choosing, while the cold air return wall vents and carpeted areas will have metal registers.
If you are interested in home automation, we have options that will allow you to control the temperature from your smartphone or mobile device through Wi-Fi enabled thermostats such as from Nest and others.
A benefit we include in all of our homes is a high efficiency heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system. To support that, where possible the plenum of the furnace will be set at a 45 degree angle vs. a 90 degrees to increase air flow and efficiency. To accomplish that, we install galvanized sheet metal custom formed for your home. This is much more efficient than installing flex ducting that may be found in other homes.
Our furnaces are always high efficiency units with a high efficiency central air conditioner and a humidifier as standard equipment. We design our HVAC air duct lines to allow for an optional two zone systems. This allows you to easily add a second furnace and thermostat down the line, without significant portions of the duct work being removed and refigured. After you move in our HVAC trade partner will re-balance the HVAC system for optimum comfort.
