4 Primary Cost Drivers For Custom Homes

Hardly a week goes by that someone doesn't ask me about what drives the cost in custom homes. The answer is quite simple as there are 4 key items that drive costs in custom homes:

1) The price of the lot.

2) The size of the home.

3) The complexity of the design.

4) The "fit and finish" going into the home.

Yes there are hundreds, if not thousands of additional items that drive cost in a custom home, but they almost always fit into one of those 4 areas.

In future blog articles, I will describe in more detail, the type of things that go into each of the four categories.

Until then, let's light a fire in the fireplaces and enjoy the warmth of our homes on this snowy winter day!
